Notice the 13 lb box of 'stuff' on the bike I sent home to lighten the load.Adventure Cycling basically began the bicycle touring boom with their cross country ride back in 1976 for the bicentennial. Today they develop routes, provide detailed maps and are a true advocate for the bicycle touring community. I also bought a new seat for the tank today – hopefully this will help with the bum pain.
